Well, I'm slightly embarrassed to admit (but just going to own it) that my idea is basically You've Got Mail fan-fiction. :) I'll see where it takes me!
I love the idea of “story” as your word! And reading the Gospels sounds like a great plan. You could spend time looking at different translations. I think I even saw on Amazon where someone had published a version of them all as one cohesive narrative.
So encouraged by all of this, my friend. And loved that little Florida Gator tidbit at the end! Also, enough as "befriending reality" - wow, so beautiful. I love the way you dove into all the different meanings and uses of "story" and am excited to follow along as your story with the word unfolds this year. Also, very excited about your novel!!
I loved that book, and I loved reading about your word! Excited to hear more about your writing- what genre/age category does your idea fit in?

I for one can never have enough of those... and may have myself written a YA romcom that features a YGM-esque romance!

Thanks, Erin! I got a really nice editions of the Gospels for Christmas, which is what sparked that initial idea! ☺️
