I have also recently discovered middle grade on audio and agree! If you have any other recommendations for audio middle grade that you've enjoyed, I'll happily take them...
I just finished The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate the night before last and I know I am unbelievably late to this book but wow, I am so glad I finally read it (because both my kiddos loved it on audio, haha). Of course I ran to the library for the next in the series...
Oh yes, our whole family loves the entire Ivan/Bob/Ruby trilogy!! They are so lovely. We did those in print but I'll have to check out the audio. (Also, the movie version of Ivan on Disney+ is pretty great.)
Some other audio middle-grade I enjoyed:
How to Train Your Dragon (Narrated by David Tennant! So good!)
The Ramona Quimby books, (Narrated by Stockard Channing!)
The Year of Billy Miller (Did I get that recommendation from you? Seems likely.)
Tuesdays at the Castle
I did The Labors of Hercules Beal in print, but my best friend did it on audio and loved it.

I didn’t know Ivan was a movie!
And I didn’t recommended Billy Miller but it’s good — my kids loved that on audio too. Also Oh, Sal — his little sister.
